Language Options
According to the guidelines set by the CBSE, every student must study English as their First Language. For their Second Language, students can choose between Hindi or Kannada. If a student select Hindi as their Second Language, then Kannada will then be designated as their Third Language, and the reverse applies as well. It’s also stipulated that instruction in the Third Language is to commence from the fifth grade onwards.
